David, Matt and Tony are the founders and Directors of Mosaic Island, which they jointly established in 2006 having worked together for over six years at a management level within the Technical Design function of Orange UK.
David Tyson – Managing Director
With over 25 years experience in the industry, David has an impressive track record of delivering change through the pragmatic application and management of Information Technology. His experience has been gained in a broad range of industry verticals, including Construction, Consulting, Utilities, Publishing and Telecommunications. David has operated at a management level for both national and international organisations with a number of interesting assignments overseas. His areas of specific expertise include CRM, Web, ERP and Business Intelligence. David lives with his partner Clare and has three children, Harriet, Lucy and James. When he’s not working he enjoys family life, period property renovation and sailing when time permits.
Matthew Lock-Fuerst
Matt has over 18 years of experience working in IT and Telecoms being involved in the launch of Orange in the UK and the launch of One in Austria. His areas of specific expertise include mobile networks, network services, billing as well as mobile and web product delivery. He has worked both in the UK and Austria in senior management roles. Prior to establishing Mosaic Island with David and Tony he worked for 6 years at Orange as a Managing Enterprise Architect with a team focused on product and service delivery across all channels, human factors and usability. Matt is married to Claudia and has a young son Laurence, when he isn’t working he enjoys property renovation, cooking and being a dad.
Tony Walsh
Tony has been working in IT for over 24 years in the Financial Services, Telecoms and Media industries. As a technical project and programme manager, Tony has driven a wide range of initiatives blending commercial, organisational, process and technology change to solve key business problems. Prior to establishing Mosaic Island with Matt and David, Tony worked within the Orange team that transformed the organisation from launch to a multi billion Euro turnover operation. Tony has two sport loving sons and when not working, can often be found huddled on a winter rugby touchline or nursing a summer pint on the boundary one of Gloucestershire‟s idyllic cricket grounds, the latter being the preferred option.
