Health Check

This is a short assignment, perhaps 2/3 days, where our consultant – an expert in the domain – will investigate a particular problem area and provide an independent and objective view on the state of that area together with recommendations.

analysisIn order for your business to make progress it’s essential to know where you are aiming for.  Using their depth of experience our consultants begin by understanding your business objectives and ambitions.  Their skills and expertise determine not just where you need to be but how you’re going to get there too.  Sounds simple, but the reality is that you have to know what you‟re doing to succeed in producing something that‟s more than just shelf- ware.

Business Case

This activity provides the structure, capture and analysis of data that enables the construction of an unbiased view of costs versus benefits.

Business Continuity

Using proven tools and techniques we are able to assess your business to determine an appropriate Business Continuity plan.  Typically our consultants begin by performing a criticality analysis on each area of the business and use this to drive out the detail of a structured plan.

Current State Definition

Any successful journey begins with knowing where you are today.  Yet so often we find that companies simply don’t know what their current environment looks like.  This activity aims to provide the right level of definition for the existing state of a problem area or domain that allows you to confidently plan how to evolve it.

Target State Definition

Building upon your strategy and current state view this activity will determine what the optimal target technology environment should look like.

Roadmap

business roadmapHaving determined where you are today (Current State) and where you want to be (Target State), how are you going to get there?  This activity will produce a Roadmap that will determine the commercially pragmatic, steps together with options for making the transition. A big bang approach is not one we subscribe to.

Vendor Selection

You’ve decided what you need, now you need to identify possible vendors (or partners) and select the right one for the job.  We have a vast amount of experience in performing the right level of analysis and due diligence on potential solutions.  This coupled with an extensive knowledge of products and services that exist within the market place both packages and open source options make this a useful choice for our clients.

Solution Scoping

How often do projects in your organisation wander off track because the scope hadn’t been defined properly?  Solution scoping provides the tools and expertise to capture a clearly defined scope for your projects.  This can be base-lined and version controlled throughout the life of the project.

Solution Design

business solution designPerhaps one of the most popular requests we receive is for Solution Architects who are able to take a brief and provide the detail design for a given solution.  Generally Solution Architects tend to be domain specific (e.g. Web, Billing,ERP) and have a deep knowledge and experience in that area to enable them to define he appropriate solution.  Their focus is on the technical solution but can also include business/technical process change and organisational change too.

Usability Assessment

Usability is the make-or-break of any Web application – particularly so if it is consumer facing and/or if it involves a high volume of transactions.  We have consultants with very specific background in this area and through a variety of tools and processes are able to rapidly assess existing usability issues and determine the right approach to meet your business goals.

UI Design

User Interface design incorporates a number of skills that we are able to provide, including Information Architecture design, Usability design, Website design and Mobile Portal design.  Our experienced consultants are able to provide a full front end design service.

Delivery Management

In our view, the key to a successful project outcome is having the right leadership in place.  Our Delivery Managers are selected for their wealth of experience and knowledge in successfully delivering similar projects or programmes.
