Mosaic Island are working hard with a number of clients on GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) related projects. These projects aim to make sure that the required GDPR changes are fully in place by the time the new laws come into force on 25th May 2018.
Alongside our client work we are also reviewing and upgrading our own internal processes and data protection policies to make sure that Mosaic Island is GDPR compliant before the end of May. This will include where required by the new laws; seeking consent to use personal data for specific named purposes, ensuring we have impact assessed our internal data against the new requirements, updating our data retention policies and processes, and publishing a new privacy statement that will guide all our employees, clients and suppliers on how we are updating our Data Protection policies and personal data processing practices. Additionally we are preparing Privacy by Design guidelines for both our clients and for our own use so that GDPR compliance is a core consideration of all our new client and corporate solution designs.
GDPR represents an important change that we are taking seriously so look out for further updates.
