With its roots established back in the 1860’s, Peabody Group is a housing association that today provides over 28,000 homes through rental or low-cost ownership schemes across London.
Peabody engaged Mosaic Island over a 12-month period to accelerate a programme to architect and manage the IT systems consolidation, the data and process migration for Gallions integration into Peabody. Gallions (Trust Thamesmead and Tilfen Land) became part of the Peabody Group in 2014.
The merger of the housing associations required all of the IT systems to be aligned and all of the core business functions to be migrated onto one Housing Management system. This became a large-scale and complex data migration project that required detailed analysis encompassing process rationalisation, IT development, data mapping, data transformation, testing and constant checkpoint reviews, staff communication, training and skills transfer.
Mosaic Island and their expert programme team have taken us from a standing start to a successful platform migration within a 12-month period. This has allowed for the significant integration phase between our two organisations to be completed. Their skills and professional approach have helped our business to rethink and to take a business-engaged approach when delivering ‘IT’ change programmes. They have allowed our business to successfully move towards the next phase of growth and diversification.
