Jason Scantlebury
Jason joined us as a Finance Assistant at Mosaic Island in November 2019, and has already proved his worth in keeping the company going behind the scenes, having been promoted to Management Accountant. When he’s not working you can find him with his Partner and two children at their allotment or sat in the beer garden socialising with family and friends (minus the children)!
What initially attracted you to Mosaic Island?
What initially attracted me to Mosaic Island was the culture they have created along with the modern approach to working that they encourage.
Can you describe a typical day in the life of your role (if there is one!)
There is no typical ‘day in the life’ of my role as each day can bring a new challenge, however monthly tasks and objectives remain the same. These tasks and objectives can alter depending on various factors e.g. associate amendments, project amendments or environment issues.
What do you like most about working for Mosaic Island
The thing I enjoy most about my role is the various deadlines for specific tasks and ensuring appropriate prioritising is done to ensure timely completion of month end, I am also enjoying learning new skills along the way.
How have you progressed your career with us?
I have learned a lot in my short time with Mosaic Island and I look forward to developing and honing my skills in the finance sector as my career progresses, there is a wealth of knowledge in the form of colleagues that I feel I can fully utilise in the future.
